RAD Resilience

September 13th, 2025

Upper River Arts District

238 Clingman Ave Ext, Asheville, NC 28801

10 AM - 5 PM

Marking one year since Hurricane Helene, RAD Resilience is a powerful community-wide art event centered on healing, creativity, and collective strength. Explore and purchase new works from over 350 artists throughout the River Arts District, as well as 100 displaced artists exhibiting at the RAD Art Market. Many featured pieces were created in direct response to the storm and the urgent realities of our changing climate.

The day also includes live music, food trucks, artist talks, and a large-scale interactive art project that spans the district. In connection with A Tale of Two Cities, a parallel exhibition opening the same day in New Orleans, RAD Resilience helps spotlight the role artists play in rebuilding, remembering, and reimagining what comes next.
