Who We Are
Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts is a cooperative located in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC that is completely facilitated by over 20 local ceramic artists it features. From gallery sales and refreshing displays to marketing and even sweeping, the artist members manage every aspect to maintain a gallery of the highest quality. When you visit the Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts, you experience the range of expertise in the member’s craft; from functional work to utilize in your daily life, to sculpture and wall art to enhance your home or office.
Many artists within the cooperative have proudly displayed work in other galleries across the U.S. and abroad, and several are current or former instructors of ceramic art techniques. Additionally, the gallery also sells the work of many of the ceramic artists who rent studio space adjacent to the gallery in Odyssey Studios. Each piece on display in the Odyssey Gallery and Odyssey Studios is ready to go home with you to enrich your life.
Whether you are an Asheville local or in town visiting for a few days, we hope you will stop by Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts to experience the exceptional skill of our artists, and maybe take a piece of extraordinary Western North Carolina art home with you.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the artists at Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our incredible community. Thank you to the volunteers, first responders, and everyone who took action to help donating time and resources to the River Arts District. Together, we will rebuild and keep the spirit of creativity alive in our neighborhood.
Your continued support makes all the difference.
