Requirements

  • Applicants must live within a 45 minute drive to Asheville (specifically the River Arts District) and be able to work in the gallery 1-2 days per month.

  • Applicants should have familiarity with POS applications such as Square to process sales in the gallery.

  • Applicants will be assigned to one of the following teams and must participate in their assigned team monthly: Display, Hospitality, or Marketing.

  • Applicants must be able to attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm (up to 4 meetings can be missed per year).


Submission

Items

Please print materials where applicable and physically submit the required items at Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts.

  • Submit 5 pieces of work for consideration. Must be current (made within 2 years).

  • Five digital images of work you intend to sell through the gallery plus descriptions and price points (can be submitted on USB or email).

  • A resume

  • An artist statement

  • Three recommendation letters from colleagues, teachers, or former employers
