Membership Application

We are not currently accepting applications for New Members.

Applicants must live within a 45 minute drive to Asheville (specifically the River Arts District) and be able to work in the gallery 1-2 days per month.

Applicants must be open to training on our POS platform, Square, and be able to process sales in the gallery.
Applicants will be assigned to one of the following teams, and must participate in their assigned team monthly: Display, Hospitality, or Marketing.
Applicants must be able to attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm (up to 4 meetings can be missed per year).

Three recommendation letters from friends, colleagues, teachers, or former employers. Unfortunately, current gallery members cannot be included in this submission.
5 pieces of work that represent a cohesive body of work, meaning a series linked by style and theme. We ask that all work is current, and made within the past 2 years.
A list of skills and interests that will help us determine which committee will best suit your experience.

5 digital images of work you intend to sell through the gallery, with dimensions and price (can be submitted on USB, emailed to Diana Gillispie at dianagillispie@gmail.com, or printed and included with physical application).
All materials should be printed out and placed in a folder for review - with the exception of the images, which can be submitted on USB.
Please be prepared to physically submit your folder including documents and 5 pieces of work intended for consideration in person at Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts.
