Requirements
Applicants must live within a 45 minute drive to Asheville (specifically the River Arts District) and be able to work in the gallery 1-2 days per month.
Applicants should have familiarity with POS applications such as Square and be able to process sales in the gallery.
Applicants will be assigned to one of the following teams, and must participate in their assigned team monthly: Display, Hospitality, or Marketing.
Applicants must be able to attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm (up to 4 meetings can be missed per year).
Submission
Items
Please physically submit application folder and 5 pieces in person at Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts
Submit 5 pieces of work for consideration. Must be current (made within 2 years).
Five digital images of work you intend to sell through the gallery, plus descriptions and price points (can be submitted on USB, emailed to Diana Gillispie at dianagillispie@gmail.com, or printed and included with physical application).
A resume
An artist statement
Three recommendation letters from colleagues, teachers, or former employers.
All materials should be printed out and placed in a folder for review - with the exception of the images, which can be printed, submitted on USB or emailed to Diana Gillispie at dianagillispie@gmail.com
