Requirements
Applicants must live within a 45 minute drive to Asheville (specifically the River Arts District) and be able to work in the gallery 1-2 days per month.
Applicants should have familiarity with POS applications such as Square to process sales in the gallery.
Applicants will be assigned to one of the following teams and must participate in their assigned team monthly: Display, Hospitality, or Marketing.
Applicants must be able to attend monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm (up to 4 meetings can be missed per year).
Submission
Items
Please print materials where applicable and physically submit the required items at Odyssey Gallery of Ceramic Arts.
Submit 5 pieces of work for consideration. Must be current (made within 2 years).
Five digital images of work you intend to sell through the gallery plus descriptions and price points (can be submitted on USB or email).
A resume
An artist statement
Three recommendation letters from colleagues, teachers, or former employers
